Tears of Gouache

About the Book

Tears of Gouache was published by Niv Books in 2024 and documents nearly three decades of art-therapy work. In it, I demonstrate and propose a therapeutic model through art for people of all ages living with eating disorders.

Feelings, experiences, and difficult events expressed in paintings form a language rich in images, metaphors, colors, and shapes. The paintings “speak” the anguish from which the eating disorder grew. On the sheet of paper, the language of painting draws out life stories with precision — even before words take shape.

Currently available in Hebrew. Written for therapists seeking additional tools, students in art therapy and mental health fields, and anyone interested in the relationship between creativity, healing, and human understanding.
